San Diego Pit Bull Awareness Day 10-09-11
Einhorn Insurance is a proud sponsor of Pit Bull Awareness Day which will be held tomorrow (Sunday October 9th) from 10am -3pm in Balboa Park (San Diego) at the corner of El Prado and Balboa Ave (just West of the dog park).
We are expecting a huge turnout this year and possibly the press!
The goal of National Pit Bull Awareness Day (NPBAD) is to educate the public and create a positive image for Pit Bulls and American Staffordshire Terriers. This is a day for Pit Bull owners and advocates to raise awareness to the plight of the Pit Bull Terrier and to make a united stand against BSL.
Pit Bull Awareness Day is a fun event for the whole family!
– Meet certified canine behaviorists and trainers.
– Learn about the breed.
– Adopt a new family member. There will be many amazing dogs from Escondido Humane Society, It’s The Pits Rescue, Puggles and Pitties and Bowman’s Canine.
– Dress up your dog for the costume parade.
– Have your photo taken with a professional photographer.
– Enjoy yummy treates at the bake sale.
– Purchase fun Pit Bull related items: jewelry, t-shirts, training demos and more!
– Talk to other responsible Pit Bull owners.
– Support an awesome breed!

PLEASE NOTE THAT BREEDERS and IN-TACT OR UN-NEUTERED MALE DOGS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
We are often asked, “how do you know if your male dog is not neutered?” Look between its legs and if you see balls, NOT NEUTERED.
Unfortunately Tia Torres of Animal Planet’s Pit Bulls and Parolees is unable to make it due to filming conflicts, but her right-hand-man Mando will be there!
