New California Traffic Tickets Fines Effective NOW. This includes a $796 fine if you don’t have auto insurance in California.
As of January 6, 2012 new traffic tickets and fines are in effect.
Effective immediately, if you do not stop at a red light, be ready to pay $436 in fines. If you pass a school bus with flashing red signals, you’ll be slapped with a $616 ticket. The state of California is not messing around. Be extra careful when driving.
Maybe you like parking in handicap spaces. You may want to reconsider. Even if you’re just there for a minute, you’re looking at almost a $1000 fine.
