dog liability insuranceDealing With The Loss of A Pet

Dealing with the loss of a pet can be devastating.  I often think about “the day” that our Pit Bull Bernice will no longer be here and it always gives me a lump in my throat.

We all deal with loss differently and sometimes we need more than family, friends or co-workers for support.

A Pet Loss Support Group gives you a chance to meet others that share in your same thoughts and emotions.  Often these groups are run by a licensed, clinical social worker.

Pet loss support groups are great for those who have recently lost a pet, are still mourning an old loss, are anticipating the death of a pet or who are preparing to put their pet down.

If you are wondering:

Why do I feel so lost without my pet?

What do I tell my child/children about the loss of our pet?

When should I get another pet?

Why can’t I get over a pet that passed away a while ago?

These questions and many others can be addressed in a Pet Loss Support Group.

If you are dealing with a pet loss, everyone at Einhorn Insurance offers you our sincerest apologies.  If you’d like us to post a photo of the best friend you lost on our Facebook page, we will be happy to do so.  We also encourage you to share some of your favorite things about your best friend so we can tell others how amazing they were.

If you have any advice that can help others coping with the loss of a pet, please post them on our facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/#!/einhorninsurance.
