Imagine opening your mail, and there it is—a notice that your homeowner’s insurance policy won’t be renewed. Panic sets in. You start to wonder, “How am I supposed to protect my home, especially with wildfire season looming? ” This is a reality more and...
Why is fire insurance so high in California? It’s a question that plagues many homeowners in the Golden State, and the answer isn’t simple. The escalating costs of homeowners insurance, specifically fire insurance, are a major financial burden for many, causing...
The crackle of flames, the choking smoke, the orange glow against the night sky – wildfires are a terrifying force of nature. They can erupt with little warning, transforming familiar landscapes into scenes of devastation in a matter of hours. While we...
Imagine the devastating scene: a wildfire raging through your neighborhood, homes engulfed in flames. It’s a nightmare scenario but one that’s becoming increasingly common in many parts of the world. While we can’t control the forces of nature, we...
Imagine this: you wake up one night, and your world is ablaze. You’re surrounded by smoke, heat, and fear. Your home, your sanctuary, is being consumed by fire. This horrifying experience is, unfortunately, a reality for many people who have survived house...
In the wake of a house fire, the aftermath is often a grim spectacle of burnt belongings, charred walls, and a generally devastated living space. But one element that is not immediately apparent yet causes extensive damage is smoke. Living in a house with smoke damage...

Fire Insurance Policy was not to be renewed. Checked chatgpt for
assistance. Einhorn Insurance was suggested. Have had an excellent experience working with both Dori and Carlos Ochoa.
I have found them to be professional, informative, meticulous, a delight to work with, and would recommend their services highly.
Einhorn Insurance is an exceptional company! My experience with the team has been extremely positive. They are organized, knowledgeable, and dedicated beyond measure. Their sense of service goes well above and beyond. I am so grateful to have found such incredible people to help navigate the increasingly complex and sometimes challenging insurance world.

A 1/4 mile change in fire maps led my property insurance of 10 years to issue a non renewal. My then broker failed to return calls and then could not find...
After I got turned down by half a dozen companies (including one I'd been with for 40 years), Summer worked her magic and got a homeowners policy with a well-known carrier--and all within a couple of hours. It's tricky to get a policy in California these days, and especially hard in so-called high-fire-risk zones like the one where I'm buying a house. The combination of Summer's knowledge and responsiveness did the trick. Thanks, Summer and Einhorn. I've already recommended her and the agency to others.

Two years ago, Dori Einhorn found a good home policy for me after I couldn't find one on my own (fire-prone area). Early this month, that carrier decided not to renew.
But Dori did not abandon me! She found me a new traditional policy with an A-rated carrier and at a good price. What astonished me was that this policy was with a company she doesn't have access to, so she directed me to an agent with that company! I'd say that's above and beyond. Within a week, I was insured again.
I feel very lucky to have found Einhorn Insurance, and I am very sorry to lose Dori as my agent. Her attention to detail, her quick response time, and her knowledge, efficiency and willingness to answer my questions made it a pleasure to work with her. I highly recommend her.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm glad we were able to assist.

I reached out to Eric at Einhorn Insurance Agency after finding out my Home Owner Insurance premium just skyrocketed for the renewal. Eric mentioned that the home insurance market is very challenging now but he was happy to shop the market for you. Eric found a more competitively priced home insurance policy option (with an A rated, “admitted” company) for me. It’s actually through another agency...as Eric received declines from all of the companies he approached.
I was able to switch all my policies to the company Eric found with huge savings.
I couldn’t express enough gratitude toward Eric and his agency. Highly recommend anyone seeking for Insurance needs.

Summer was extremely detailed and responsive and helped us navigate the entire insurance process for our new home purchase. I would definitely recommend her to anyone purchasing a home in a high fire risk area.
Response from the owner:Thank you Mary. Congratulations on your new home!!
My husband and I were astounded when we could not obtain insurance for our brand new house because it is located in an area considered to be "high" fire risk. We reached out to several agents and found Eric of Einhorn Insurance. He was by far the most informative and easiest agent to work with. The difficulty obtaining coverage was very stressful for us and Eric was a calming influence in the process.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much Elizabeth. We are happy to hep.

Wow! I could not find reasonable insurance for my recent purchase of a Malibu house. It is in a high fire zone, in fact the 2018 fire had burned down the two houses on the other side of my street. I had called and searched insurance companies including "All Modern". Nobody would insure this house with a regular insurance plan.
Dori Einhorn insurance was one of my many calls. She had connections. Yes believe it or not I got a very reasonable coverage with " All Modern" who had denied me prior when I called.
Dori rocks!
Response from the owner:Thank you Marina. These are challenging times for those who own properties in high fire risk areas. I'm so happy we could help.
